This week Prabhu Energy Labs visited Banff, Alberta to present its approach to mitigating methane slip at Canada's oil and gas Methane Leadership Summit. The two day event was hosted by Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC) and Clean Research Innovation Network (CRIN). Edan Prabhu, founder and CEO, presented the Oxiperator for mitigating methane slip from lean-burn gas engines as part of a panel on applied research initiatives. Monica Prabhu, Commercialization and Communications Officer, presented opportunities for cross-border collaboration to accelerate methane emissions reduction, as part of a panel on global collaboration. Combustion slip, or methane slip, is an emissions abatement challenge in Canada and the US, and it was a major theme at the event both for oil and gas operators and regulators. Comments are closed.
